Our Story

Le Mexique was born from the desire to fuse two worlds: the rich cultural heritage of Mexican roots, full of color, history, and symbolism, with the elegance and sophistication of European style.

We create children’s fashion that honors Mexican heritage by incorporating traditional embroidery, soft colors, and contemporary silhouettes. Each piece is delicate, symbolic, and unique, thoughtfully designed to offer comfort, durability, and style. We imagine our garments being passed down from generation to generation—shared between siblings, cherished by mothers as treasured keepsakes of childhood, and hopefully worn one day by grandchildren as future family heirlooms.

Our founder, Natalia Hernández, grew up in a small town surrounded by indigenous communities. From an early age, she showed a deep interest in learning various embroidery techniques, which eventually led her to pursue a degree in Fashion Design. Later, she lived in France, where she fell in love with the timeless elegance and detail of European fashion. It was there that she saw the potential for a dialogue between two worlds—a collaboration that celebrates and unites the essence of both cultures.

At Le Mexique, we truly believe that fashion can be a powerful tool for cultural preservation. With every stitch, we aim to spark awareness, celebrate diversity, and keep alive the stories that shape us as people.
